How the Toon Tone Daily Challenge Works
The Daily Challenge is Toon Tone's competitive core. Every day, a date-based deterministic seed generates a fixed sequence of 5 target colors. Because the seed is deterministic, every player around the world sees the exact same colors in the exact same order.
This shared experience is what makes the Daily Challenge shareable. When you post your score, anyone who plays the same day faces the same test. A high score means you genuinely outperformed on that particular set of colors — not that you got an easier draw.
Your best daily score is stored locally in your browser. Over time, tracking your daily bests gives you a clear picture of how your color memory is developing.
Tips for the Daily Challenge
Warm up with 1-2 Practice rounds before attempting the Daily. Your color perception is sharpest after a few calibration rounds.
Don't rush. The only timed element is the preview phase. Once the color is hidden, take as long as you need with the sliders.
After your first attempt, review each round's reveal carefully. Note where your guesses deviated most. Then replay with that knowledge — your second attempt will almost always score higher.

The Daily Challenge resets at midnight UTC (00:00 UTC). When the date changes, a completely new set of colors is generated from the new daily seed.
Can I replay the daily challenge?
Yes, you can replay as many times as you want. Since the seed is fixed, you will see the same colors. Your best daily score is saved locally in your browser.
How do I share my daily Toon Tone score?
After completing the game, use the Copy Result button. It generates a text summary with your score and a link that others can use to play the same challenge.
Is the daily challenge harder than practice?
The colors are not inherently harder, but the pressure of a shared challenge often makes players rush. Take your time with each slider — the daily has no time limit beyond the preview phase.
